Privacy Policy

RJ Globe Auth is the central sign-in and identity service operated by RJ Globe Inc. (“RJ Globe”, “we”, “us”) in Ontario, Canada. It lets you create one account and use it to sign in securely across RJ Globe products and services. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use RJ Globe Auth, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to reflect our obligations under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Law 25.

Each RJ Globe product you access through RJ Globe Auth may also have its own privacy policy covering the data it collects within that product. This policy covers only the identity and sign-in service itself.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details — your name, email address, and (if you add one) phone number.
• Credentials — your password (stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we never store it in readable form), and, if you enable them, multi-factor authentication secrets, passkeys, and recovery codes.
• Consents — a record of the agreements and communication preferences you accept, and when.

Information from signing in with a third party

If you choose “Sign in with Google,” “Sign in with Microsoft,” or “Sign in with Apple,” that provider sends us a limited set of profile information — typically your name, email address, a profile picture (where available), and a stable identifier for your account with that provider. We use this only to create or link your RJ Globe Auth account and to sign you in. We do not receive or store your password for those providers.

Information collected automatically

• Security and device data — IP address, browser/user-agent, and approximate device information associated with sign-in, account-recovery, and security events.
• Sign-in activity — timestamps and outcomes of authentication events (for example successful logins, failed attempts, new-device sign-ins) used to protect your account.
• Essential cookies — see “Cookies” below.

2. How we use your information

• Authenticate you and provide single sign-on across RJ Globe products.
• Create, secure, and recover your account (including multi-factor authentication and new-device alerts).
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Send service and security communications (for example email/SMS verification codes, password-reset links, and security notices).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Use of Google user data (Limited Use)

RJ Globe Auth’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. When you sign in with Google we request only your basic profile and email (the openid, email, and profile scopes). We use that data solely to authenticate you and manage your account; we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service, for security or legal reasons, or with your consent; and we do not use it for advertising or sell it.

4. How we share information

• Across RJ Globe products — when you sign in to an RJ Globe product, we share the minimum identity information that product needs to recognize you (for example your identifier, name, and email).
• Service providers — vendors who process data on our behalf under contract, such as email and SMS delivery providers and our cloud hosting provider, limited to what they need to perform their service.
• Identity providers — Google, Microsoft, and Apple, only when you choose to sign in with them.
• Legal and safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or RJ Globe.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and maintain the security of your session. These are essential to the service; we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Security and audit records are retained for a limited period as needed to protect accounts and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with law.

7. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and withdraw consents you have given. You can manage most of this directly from your account:

• Export your data
• Review your consent history
• Delete your account

You may also contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

8. How we protect your information

We use technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, multi-factor authentication, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the relevant regulators of a breach where required.

9. Where your information is processed

We are based in Canada and process personal information in Canada and, through our service providers, may process it in other jurisdictions. Where information is processed outside your province or country, it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions; we require our providers to protect it consistent with this policy.

10. Children

RJ Globe Auth is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you or ask you to re-confirm your consent.
